Anticipation

Twenty days until I leave for Greece! I'm starting to get very excited but a little nervous too. It's good to know that there is another girl from Purdue that will be flying with me and participating in the same summer program...quite comforting actually!

My program runs from May 19 until June 9.  I will be flying out of Indy at 1:30pm on Tuesday May 19 to Philadelphia and then on to Athens where I will arrive Wednesday May 20 at 9am.  My return flight leaves Athens at 12am on June 9 and reaches Philadelphia around 6pm and then back home to Indy around 8pm that night...a very long day of traveling! (FYI Greece is seven hours ahead of Lafayette)

I'll be staying in an apartment in the neighborhood of Pagrati which is right down the road from the Olympic Stadium!  Some other sites that we are scheduled to see is the Acropolis, Agora, Delphi, Olympia, and other various archaeological sites and art museums.  Once my trip begins make sure you check in often because I will be posting pictures and descriptions from all of my excursions!  Hope you enjoy!
